Vegan Food in Taipei, Taiwan

My hometown Taipei is named Asia's number one most vegan-friendly city by PETA!

Buddhism is the most practiced religion in Taiwan, hence the plenty of vegetarian restaurants in the country.

Veganism is well-accepted in Taiwan. Rarely anyone would mock you for being vegan or purposely eating bacon in front of you.

I also must mention the affordable price of food in Taiwan. For instance, I've had a beyond burger in Taiwan costs under $8 USD. But most restaurants in LA would charge $20 USD  for the same burger!!!
